A 15-year-old girl caught a man on Saturday afternoon who was satisfying herself at the playground on Kleinakkerweg in Eindhoven. At that time, children were playing. When the man was approached, he fled. In the end, the police managed to keep the Venscase. It is a 30-year-old man from Schijndel.
The 15-year-old girl was waiting around a quarter to five at the playground for the 17-year-old Rayan, with whom she had agreed. There she saw a man who was strange. The girl saw how he satisfied himself at a powerhouse next to the playground. The man then walked to an alley nearby, where the girl saw that he again satisfied himself.
The girl decided to call Rayan to tell what she had seen. “I immediately went to her on her scooter,” says Rayan. When he arrived, he also saw the man standing. “I called 112 and meanwhile walked to the man. I asked what he was doing.”
“We started chasing the man together.”
The man did not respond and ran away quickly, towards his car. Rayan ran after the man and filmed him so that he would later have evidence for the police. “I wanted to stand in front of his car, but he was too fast. I still had 112 on the line, so I passed on his license plate,” says the boy.
At the same time a woman drove past her car. She had seen the incident happen and asked Rayan what was going on. “I got into the car with her and we chased the man together. But he drove so fast. When he drove through red, we lost him.”
“You don’t expect to experience something like that.”
In the meantime, the police had already taken action. Agents eventually managed to detect the man through license plate recognition. He was arrested at the Ekkersrijt industrial estate. The police say that the man is no longer stuck, but is still a suspect.
The girl, together with her parents, has reported the Schennis Plewer. “She was very shocked. I do not expect something like that,” says Rayan.
