Collaboration premiere for Voo Store.
For his first official cooperation, the Berlin fashion retailer Voo Store has teamed up with the Herzogenaurach sporting goods manufacturer Puma. The result of this cooperation is the shared Sneaker Speedcat Ballet, as Voo announced on Tuesday.
The hybrid design visually connects the classic sneaker silhouette with the elegant shape of a ballerinas and reinterprets Pumas Motorsport-DNA “by the perspective of balance, grace and control”. The sneaker is characterized by an upper material made of leather, a shape strip made of Nubuk, elastic cross belts and removable heel straps that newly contextualize classic ballet aesthetics. The design was significantly inspired by the Puma archives, to which the Voo team received exclusive access as part of the collaboration.
Joaquín Campos, Sportswear Buyer & Retail admin were responsible for the design of the shoe at Voo. The cooperation marks a new chapter for the Voo Store, which is based on last year’s rebranding and the realignment of the creative strategy. The accompanying campaign was recorded by the Berlin photographer Timothy Schaumburg in a historic gymnasium in northern Berlin. Directed by Benjamin Patch, the styling took over Lawrie Abu, Isabel Barletta was responsible for production.
The Speedcat Ballet is available exclusively via the Voo Store – both in the shop and online. The launch takes place on May 9th. The price is 120 euros, the model is available in the sizes UK 3.5 to UK 8.5.
