The retailer KIK Textiles and Non-Food GmbH has found a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). On Monday, the company announced that Christian Kümmel will take over the position on August 1st.
According to his future employer, Kümmel has “comprehensive expertise in corporate management and organizational development”. He comes from the petal needs dealer Fressnapf Holding SE, in which he had held various management positions in the past ten years and most recently worked as a CFO.
At Kik, Kümmel will succeed Daniel Kunzi, who has headed the finance department as a provisional CFO since Rüdiger Hartmann’s resignation. CEO Patrick Zahn commented on the change of personnel. “With Christian Kümmel we gain a real trading professional with a comprehensive management experience and strategic foresight,” he said in a statement. “I would like to thank Daniel Kunzi for his excellent commitment as an interim financial board and wish him all the best for his professional future.”
