Quantum threat is faster than expected, secure data will soon be easy to crack: ‘Consequences can be enormous’

Quantum computers will soon be able to crack existing cryptography, but companies and some governments are hardly prepared for that. According to Palo Alto Networks, immediate action is needed. “If you wait too long, then you will be too late,” warns head of information security Northern Europe Jesper Olsen of the large American cyber security company.
