Two traffic controllers were hit on Sunday afternoon during the Wings for Life-hard running event in Breda. The motorist drove on after the collision. Later the police arrested a 27-year-old man from Zundert.
The incident happened 16 kilometers from the start, in the Oranjeboomstraat.
The traffic controllers were checked for injuries by a summoned ambulance. One of the two had to go to the hospital. The traffic controller was approachable at that time.
