Lekkas arrived in Kuopio from Odense Bulldogs in Denmark. He wanted to thank KalPa for the transfer as the championship was resolved.

– KalPa took the risk even though I played in Denmark. They saw something in me and believed in me. I couldn’t be happier.

Both Lekkas and Westerlund praised KalPa’s perseverance. The team played long series but was able to squeeze up to the championship.

– This team will never die. It is no surprise that we are at this point, Lekkas praised.

KalPa departed from Lappeenranta at 23.30 towards Kuopio. In the locker room, a banquet was previously flowing.

According to the goalkeeper, the team has lived in such an instant that the more detailed plans were still obscured.
