Jane will not just try to survive and then win, to aim at the heart of the rotten system behind the event. An opportunity for revenge for the whole female gender, in an explicit, but not indigestible emancipation speech.
Between characters cut with acceptance, predictable narrative turns, the film does not go to the subtle. Its strength is the choreography of the fightingwhich do not hide behind raw details or particularly excited moments, ensuring the involvement of the viewer for all its duration.
