Tragedy in the province of Gorizia. A 20 -year -old motorcyclist, Filippo Morello, died following the injuries sustained after a fall during a motocross race. It happened in the late afternoon of today at the Crossodrome Luciano Battouz of Versa di Romans d’Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia, where the second stage of the Regional Motocross Championship of Friuli Venezia Giulia was taking place. The boy was resident in Orsago and was a member of the Motoclub Polcenigo. The boy has lost control of the bike during the last half hour of the second heat. Apparently, but the investigations are still ongoing, the young man has fallen and was overwhelmed by the other bikes in the race. Rescue were immediate, with the intervention of the ambulance and helicopter, but unfortunately the resuscitation attempts have been in vain. The father was also attended by the race.
