The United States and Ukraine signed the raw material deal on Wednesday. The so-called ‘United States-Ukraine Rebuilding Investment Fund’ is therefore a fact, reports the US Department of Finance. According to William B. Taylor, the former American ambassador in Kiev, the Ukrainians got a “much better raw material deal than initially on the table”.
