Barbra Streisand continues her collection with duets. “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two” will be released on June 27 and contains joint songs with spectacular guests from Bob Dylan to Paul McCartney and from Mariah Carey to Ariana Grande.
On Wednesday (April 30th) the singer also published a harbinger, a wonderful cover version of Roberta Flacks “First Time ever i Saw your face” with Hozier.
The other duet partners on the record, the continuation of their album “Partner” from 2014, also come from the A-League of Pop and Rock: James Taylor, Sting, Sam Smith, Seal, Josh Groban, Tim McGraw and Laufey.
“They inspire me in unique and different ways,” said Streisand to select their fellow campaigners. “I admire them all … and I hope that listening to our common works will give you as much pleasure as I have the recordings with all my wonderful partners.”
For them, the time in the studio with all the musicians was a “real joy”, it continues in their explanation.
