Service starters at industrial servants

It has been over 17 years since FC Bayern ventured to the South American transfer market. Apart from Bundesliga returnees Zé Roberto, the Munich-based company has not proven a happy hand with the last commitments of Breno, José Sosa and Julio Dos Santos. Now sports director Max Eberl seems to want to go back in the risk. The focus: vertical starter Felipe Loyola (24) from CA Independiente.

Like the Argentine broadcaster “TYC Sports“Reports, FC Bayern is considering depositing an offer for the Chilean international. Scouts of the Munich team were last in March at the derby between independents and racing club (1-1) on site to see Loyola in action. But the flexible professional bound by 2028 would probably not be.
Loyola has an exit clause that is to amount to $ 15 million (around EUR 13.2 million). In order to express the competition, FC Bayern is ready to offer more. An offer of 15 million to 20 million euros is in the room. It was only last summer that Independiente Loyola won from Huachipato FC for EUR 1.65 million, which would delete a whopping 50 percent in a transfer due to a share of resell.
Since then, Loyola has started a vertical start. Originally considered a replacement for his compatriot Mauricio Isla on the right defense, Loyola has developed into one of the outstanding players of Torneo Apertura in the midfield center. Independients are currently in second place in Zone B with just one defeat from 14 games and is a co -favorite on the title due to the strong form.
Bayern goal Loyola with a stony way to the fan favorite
“He is a key player,” says Scott Christensen, Area Manager Argentina at the transfer market. “He was already very good at Huachipato, but his ease and influence in a club like independent caused its market value.” Loyola recently recorded the third plus in a row since moving from Chile. Its market value quadrupled to 6 million euros. Loyola has become even more dangerous in midfield. He contributed six hits and five templates in 36 missions for industrial servants to date.
Behind Loyola is a rocky path to the professional. At the top club CSD Colo-Colo, this step was not trusted. With the third division club CCD Fernández Vial, he made the leap into the second class, two years later the leap on the upper house at Huachipato. There and in the national team, for which he made their debut in October 2023, he was used – like Joshua Kimmich – mainly on the right defense.
The versatility is also remembered by coach Gualberto Jara, who knows Loyola from the young Colo-Colos youth area. “I had him at 17 and 18, he was my favorite,” the 65-year-old felt the potential. “He is a great player and multifunctional what we love coaches. As a central defender, full -back, winger or in the central midfield, he can always play with the same commitment. His strong nature and technical skills highlight him.” With his achievements, Loyola, also called “Viking”, quickly rose to fan favorite at independents.

The development is of course not hidden in Europe. In the case of independents, a timely departure is expected. If Bavaria does not make an offer, there are numerous other interested parties, it is said. In Italy, for example, where, in particular, only Udinese Calcio seeped through. Or the Argentine top club Ca Boca Juniors, which in competition with European teams would hardly have a chance. Either way: Independients have long been looking for a replacement for Loyola.
According to Arturo Vidal, Loyola would only be the second chilene in the dress of FC Bayern. From 2015 to 2018, the “warrior” played 124 games (22 goals) for the Munich team in midfield and provided a corresponding enthusiasm for the German record champion in his homeland. With Tom Bischof (Hoffenheim), Bayern have already brought a new addition to the midfield to the roof and subject, but the future of João Palhinha and Leon Goretzka is considered open. At the back of the right, Konrad Laimer comes into play in the current season, which is actually also located in midfield. That is why Sacha Boey is also considered a candidate for departure. Loyola could fill several gaps.
My first thought was who knows Loyola and what makes him.
With a view of the profile, it can be seen that he switched to Argentina last year and there is leaders there with independents.
He played 10 games out of 10 games. That in turn as a regular player. Seems to cover the positions of Kimmich.
Understand the skepticism of many players directly from South America, but I would not rule out that, even after any statements in the past year …
