Eric dier will apparently leave FC Bayern after a year and a half. As “L’équipe” reports with reference to his own information, the 31 -year -old central defender is about to switch to AS Monaco. The responsible persons of the Ligue-1 club are intensively planning the squad for the new season regardless of the final placement.

The Englishman is said to become the first new addition for the 2025/26 season. Monaco wanted to add experience to his young team. A signature of Dier is on the home stretch. The French fourth in the table did not want to comment on personnel on request. Fabrizio Romano goes one step further and reports that the deal is in dry towels. The defender will therefore be bound until June 2028.
At the end of March it looked that Dier could extend his expiring one -year contract in Munich. Bavaria’s sports director Christoph Freund had confirmed corresponding talks. The fact that the 49-time national player of the Three Lions was dealt with about a common future in Munich was already a topic in media reports after having had a relatively firm farewell in summer last year.
