TVs are now sold in huge quantities. The HD transition of the television has accelerated the record-breaking television sales, says ETKO Association of Electronics and Home Appliance. In March, 130 percent more televisions were sold in Finland than a year earlier. According to the association, the sales figures in April will be even tougher, as more televisions were sold in the first week of the month than in April 2024.
