The Michelin stars were again awarded this morning in the Handelsbeurs in Antwerp. 13 restaurants were awarded their first star, and three West-Flemish chefs make their appearance.
Both Wouter van Tichelen from restaurant Mémoire in Bruges and Dimitri Cheers from restaurant Haut In Ostend, Michelin rewarded their first star.
“I think nothing is going to change. We just do our thing day in day. We work hard. We buy the best products. We edit that with heart and soul and tomorrow the sun goes up again and we will spoil our guests 100 percent back in Bruges,” Wouter van Tichelen remains sober.
