Years ago, the “Simpsons” showed how dangerous Donald Trump is

According to the visionary story, he had led the country into a deep economic crisis and Lisa now has to protect the United States from ruin with great skill. Dan Greaney, the author of the almost clairvoyant episode, told the “Hollywood Reporter” a few months ago in an interview that this was a “warning of America”. At the time, this already suited the forecast that America would slowly go crazy.
“The Simpsons have always treated the excesses of American culture. And Trump is exactly that”added Greaney. Incidentally, Donald Trump’s presidency was not completely absurd in 2000. The billionaire entered the fight for the presidential candidacy in 1999 and wanted to take part in the reform party. But at the time of the broadcast of the “Simpsons” episode, he had already ended his campaign.
