“Everyone is allowed each other, and it is not that everyone chooses a loud side or something like that. It is just very pleasant, both the villages are there today,” says co -organizer Ramon Wilts. That image is confirmed by the other people present. It is an orange -colored party, complete with parade that starts on Kaag and then with the ferry to the neighboring village.
There is also no mutual friction among the children of both villages. “We also come from both sides and find each other very nice,” say three girls who have come to the festivities. At most, some healthy competition is created when egg throwing, which is planned at the end of the afternoon.
