Before the game against Mainz, Vincent Kompany had already indicated it, now it is clear: another player will be missing for the time being.

FC Bayern has to do without Raphaël Guerreiro for an indefinite period. The Portuguese is missing in the Bundesliga game on Saturday against FSV Mainz 05 due to a smaller muscle fiber tear in the adductor area (in the live ticker at T-online). The Munich team did not say how long Guerreiro will fail. In addition, Manuel Neuer, Jamal Musiala, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki ITō are currently not available to the record champions.

Even before the duel with Mainz 05, coach Kompany had indicated a possible violation of Guerreiro. At a press conference, the Belgian said that he “may have a little worried with Rapha”. The Portuguese international has “nothing serious”, but you have to wait. Why Company is worried, he left open. Now there is clarity.

Guerreiro moved from Borussia Dortmund to Säbener Strasse in the summer of 2023. Since then he has played 60 competitive games in which he scored eight goals. In the current season, the 31-year-old comes to 21 Bundesliga, nine Champions League and two DFB cup operations. With Portugal, the 65-fold international became European champion in 2016.
