Kirsi has three children. Childbirth did not go as he wished.
– I believed in my body. Still, he went to Peta, Kirsi says in a documentary on TV1 today.
Kirsi says that childbirth began with a long time with amniotic fluid. After 28 hours, the fetal heart sounds collapsed and oxygen deficiency threatened. Kirsi was rushed to the emergency section.
In the documentary, Kirsi estimates that she should have promoted her childbirth by relaxing and doing well -being in order to make your body’s own oxytocin, the so -called “love hormone”, which promotes childbirth.
– I could have taken orgasms, eat chocolate, take the sun. I never thought that my childbirth could end in the emergency section, Kirsi ponders.
A sudden unplanned cut left deep marks in Kirsi.
– It’s probably the wildest thing I’ve experienced in my life. Of course, I’m glad my child is alive. But at the same time, the boundaries of my body have been crossed. It feels like I had experienced violence.
In his second childbirth, Kirsi got a remedy experience and a desired low birth. The third child was born at home in water.
– All my wildest dreams came true. I was able to give birth just as I wanted, Kirsi describes the birth of her pit.

In addition to Kirsi, the documentary follows the doula Anna-Riitta’s hands. The film shows genuine births without censorship, both in hospital conditions and at home. One of the births is the body activist Tytti Shemeikka. He gives birth to his own home in the living room. After childbirth, the placenta is recovered and chopped into capsules in the freezer.
