The Metzingen fashion group Hugo Boss AG presented the first joint collection of his main brand Boss with former football star David Beckham on Wednesday.
The “Beckham X Boss” collection, which celebrates its premiere for the spring/summer 2025 season, was therefore partially shared by Beckham and is inspired by the “personal style” of the former English national player, who had already emerged as a fashion kone at his active time.
It includes leisure fashion, accessories and shoes and forms the start of a design collaboration of the Boss brand with David Beckham for several years. The collection has been available worldwide in the boutiques and in the Boss online store and from selected trading partners since Wednesday.
Boss CEO Grieder: Premiere of “Beckham X Boss” is an “important milestone”
Daniel Grieder, the CEO of Hugo Boss, praised the debut: “Our first ‘Beckham X Boss’ collection marks an important milestone in our long-term strategic partnership and is a unique moment in the history of our core brand,” he said in a statement. “We were really looking forward to this market launch and are more than excited to see how these pieces are recorded by our end customers.” The collection is “based on our strategic priority to focus on the product” and follows the goal of “dressing up our customers seamlessly with our brands for every occasion,” explained Grieder.
David Beckham is also pleased with the cooperation with the German clothing group. “I’ve always loved fashion and the compilation of different looks,” he said. “So it was a great experience to work with Boss on my own spring/summer collection. So I was able to really get involved in the details of the pieces and create a wardrobe with looks that are relaxed but stylish and fit on different occasions. I can hardly wait to see them in the shops.”
