Adidas Originals once again cooperated with the Chinese-Canadian designer Edison Chen, founder of the Modelabel Clot, to launch a new collection that combines eastern and western design influences, said the Heizenaurach athlete on Tuesday. The latest cooperation includes the Clot Silk Gazelle Sneaker and an associated Apparel capsule.
The sneakers reinterpret the classic gazelle silhouette in two variants. The White Silk Gazelle is designed with the characteristic Silk Royale pattern from Clot on a white silk top material. The Blue Silk Gazelle presents itself in a rich blue tone with a finely structured surface. Both models have high-quality details such as suede elements, gold-colored laces and a crepe sole.
The associated Apparel capsule includes a bowling shirt and a knitting shorts with crochet elements. The collection deals with the integration of crochet and knitting techniques, supplemented by strong colors and design hints of eastern design topics.
The Clot Silk Gazelle Collection has been available on April 14 on the Adidas Confirmed app. The worldwide release of the sneakers took place on April 19.
