They are the two best scorers from Eintracht Braunschweig: Lino Tempelmann and Rayan Philippe. But staying beyond summer is open.

Rayan Philippe has already scored twelve goals for Eintracht Braunschweig in the current season – and thus twice as many as the second most successful scorer in the squad. But the future of the French striker on the Oker has been uncertain for months.

The 24-year-old’s expiring contract should extend a year with a BTSV stay in the 2nd Bundesliga. According to media reports, the interested parties for the attacker have already positioned themselves. Bundesliga clubs such as Mainz 05 or SC Freiburg are said to have already stretched out their feelers, it was said recently.

The fact that Philippe will go on goals in Braunschweig in the coming season also appeared unrealistic until the end. But is there any hope of staying? “I will give everything for relegation, after that we continue to see. Nothing has been signed yet,” said the striker about the “Braunschweiger Zeitung”. Speculation about a change is currently “completely nothing”. However, this has not yet been decided.

The same applies to a summer party from Lino Tempelmann. The lending contract of Schalke 04’s midfielder ends at the end of the season. It is quite possible that it also runs beyond the summer for the BTSV.

The 26-year-old had already spoken to sports manager Benjamin Kessel about it, he said about the “Braunschweiger Zeitung”. “Of course I can imagine staying. You can see that, I think. If I can play what I can do, then I can be good,” said Tempelmann. “So it’s very nice to be here.”

Tempelmann has played 13 competitive games for Eintracht since his winter change and noticeably pressed his stamp on the team. In addition, he scored six goals and prepared two more goals. At Schalke 04, he only played a subordinate role before moving to Braunschweig.
