Swedish biathlon legend Björn Ferry46, after his sports career, went into a business that he had to regret quickly.
The Olympic winner and a triple World Championship medalist revealed his gigantic-and failed-investment in the Swedish media VK.
– I became arrogant and bought a forest machine. It’s probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever done, he said on the magazine.
According to the magazine, the species bought a harvester and a forwarder. However, Ferry did not enjoy his gadget for long. They were bought from him at a rapid rate.
– I realized that nothing would work. The worst decision in my life was to buy them, best selling them.
The impulse purchase was expensive for Ferry. He told the magazine that he made a loss of just over € 36,000 in six months.
– Although the best decision in my life was to sell the machines, it was not completely painless, he shook.
The man admitted that it was difficult to admit his own mistake. Sometimes, however, it has to be done.
– Ideally, you want to continue trying and look for a new road instead of handing out a new road. However, I decided to quit and continue in different directions, and I’m proud of it, he decided.
Ferry won the Olympic gold at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics for chase. He celebrated the World Championship silver in the Ruhpolding joint start competition in 2012 and bronze in the 2007 and 2010 mixed messages.
