He already started with YouTube when he was only ten years old. Thomas Mooij from Assen has been around for twenty years now, and he earns a living by making videos about the game Rocket League. He does that under the name Twisty.
Playing football with cars. In short, that is what Rocket League is all about. In the game, players manage a vehicle with which you have to try to score goals on a field that shows similarities with a football field.
Thomas started making videos about the game in 2021. He now has 130,000 followers on YouTube and 200,000 if you also count the other social media channels (such as Tiktok). His videos are viewed between 35,000 and 50,000 times on YouTube. “From young children to fathers: I am regularly recognized and approached on the street. Especially in large cities.”
