An arrest team invaded a house to the Muntmeester in Uden on Sunday evening. A negotiator was unable to talk to a confused man from his home. The street was closed for more than two and a half hours due to the situation.
The police received the report of a confused person around eight in the evening. A police negotiator then tried to talk the man outside for an hour and a half, but without success.
At the same time, there were multiple police cars in the state. Agents also stood at the house with shield and a police dog.
Special interventions service
Because it was unclear in what kind of condition the confused man was and what his plans were, it was decided around half past nine to use an arrest team of the Special Interventions (DSI) service.
They eventually removed the man from his house. According to our 112 correspondent, the man was slightly injured.
Kept
A police spokesman says that the man was subsequently arrested, partly due to an incident in his house earlier in the day. Only around half past ten in the evening was the street released again by the police.
