After 25 years he thought it was time to pour all that into a book, and because he finds himself such a mumps, he immediately called it dream job. From the Olympic Games to interviews with world champion Tadej Pogačar, everything is in the book. “I am proud of what I have already experienced, hence a retrospective. We often say that something is historic, so I can say that this is a book with a lot of sports history.”
And everything started here in West Flanders for Neyrinck, more specifically in Marke where he himself still volleyball. “A lot has happened here in my sporting childhood, here I scored my first goal and I played my first volleyball matches.”
