Leverkusens Gustavo Puerta will switch to Hull City for the new season. The change is possible due to a contractual clause.
The next departure at the freshly baked double winner has been determined: Gustavo Puerta will finally leave Bayer Leverkusen for the coming season. The 20 -year -old midfielder joins Hull City – a change that now automatically reaches through a contractually defined clause.
The Bundesliga club and the English second division had agreed on a loan business before the start of the season. Part of the agreement was a purchase option, which was now automatically compulsory due to the number of Puertas league inserts at Hull City.
So far, the Colombian has had 27 missions in the championship, 20 of them in the starting XI. Puerta switched to Leverkusen from the Colombian club Bogotá FC in January 2023. Immediately afterwards he was borrowed to the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg. Before this season, the loan followed to northern England.
