New illness for the legendary coach of the San Antonio Spurs, who then recovered. But doubts grow on his future
Gregg Popovich emergency rescue, loaded on a stretcher and then in an ambulance, taken in a restaurant in San Antonio where he had suddenly felt bad. The news is by Tmz Sports, specialized in everything that is gossip in America, but credible in its field. The facts date back to two days ago, on Tuesday evening, even if they emerged only now: the 76 -year -old San Antonio Spurs coach would have passed out, according to the reconstruction – on social media a video of the rescue also runs in which Pop is not recognizable – in a steak of the city of the Alamm where he had gone to have dinner. Popovich was conscious – able to speak – when loaded on the vehicle arrived following the call for the sudden the medical emergency. The medical sources referring to TMZ specify that the patient has never been in danger of life, but that obviously he had been taken to the hospital for immediate assistance. Espn, TV specialized in US sports, reports now that Pop would already be back home in the meantime. It would be fine now.

Popovich is the most winning coach in NBA history with even 1,422 games won, on the Spurs bench, in Texas, he won five NBA titles. He also trained the US national team conquering Olympic gold in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. The legendary coach of Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, but also by Marco Belinelli, now coach of Victor Wembanyama, the French phenomenon, last November had been hit by a slight stroke, thus forced to close his season prematurely.
