The signs of the long-time Bundesliga manager Fredi Bobic at Legia Warsaw condense themselves. Bobic said that he could confirm “very positive conversations” with the Polish club and its owner about a possible cooperation at “Sky”.
The TV station had already reported a possible management task of the 53-year-old at Legia this week. However, the topic is “not yet through,” added Bobic, who, according to his own information, has already visited two Legia games. On Good Friday there is another conversation “to deepen one or the other thing,” said the former international. “But I have a very good feeling that it might go in the direction.”
Bobic was terminated by Hertha BSC in January 2023, after which there was a legal dispute between the two sides. Previously, the former striker had already worked as sports director at VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt. Legia is said to have convinced Bobic with ambitious plans for the future, including one of the most modern training centers in Europe.
