The home toilet package includes a toilet brush, cleaning products and a toilet roll. With the package, the chain wants to encourage residents to have partygoers pee at their home. “We have had research done, it shows that 70 percent of women still think there are too few toilets with King’s Day,” says project manager Elaine Stap. The low rows are also often the problem.
The promotion is also in force in other cities, such as, Utrecht, Den Bosch, The Hague and Haarlem. According to the chain, there are now more than 80 registrations for the package in Amsterdam. “There is also a poster, they can hang people behind the window. That way you know where you can ring the bell on King’s Day, Step says.
