The textile-to-textile regenerator Reju has received a partnership with Rematrix, an organization for manufacturer’s responsibility from Vicenza, Italy, to ensure compliant and sustainable supply of old textiles.

Rematrix works with fashion companies and looks after the final phase of their textile products. The company ensures compliance with the regulations on the extended manufacturer’s responsibility (EPR) in Italy and all of Europe.

Rematrix promotes reuse and recycling of textile waste as well as the development of circular business models through an industrial supply chain, its own traceability platform and a network of technology and business partners: inside.

Beyond the EPR requirements

The new partnership will have an impact on regional problems in the area of ​​old clothing in the regions in which they are created. In this way, solutions are developed and opportunities for nearshoring are created.
