Does FC Bayern still create the turn against Inter? The former international Torsten Frings believes in his ex-club. He revealed that in an interview with T-Online.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge spoke of a “little miracle” that FC Bayern needed at the Champions League second leg at Inter Milan (from 9 p.m. in the T-Online live ticker). The former club chief made the Italian champion to the favorite after the 1-2 first leg defeat last week.

Torsten Frings does not consider the prospects of the German record champions to be so dark. Despite the tight home defeat, the former Bayern professional sees “good chances” to reach the semi-finals of the premier class. “If Bavaria continues, that would not be a big football miracle for me. There were bigger ones,” said the 46-year-old in an exclusive conversation with T-Online.

The Bundesliga leader needs a win with a goal to achieve the extension. Every higher success would mean the semi -finals – and the big dream of “final Dahoam” would live on.

It is still open whether Bayern coach will tackle the undertaking at the Italian champion with Thomas Müller, who was overwhelming at the end of the season. After his goal in the first leg, the former Bavarian and national players Stefan Effenberg and Lothar Matthäus unanimously demanded him in the starting eleven for the cracker in San Siro.

Frings, double winner with the Munich team in 2005, said: “Company will make the best decision for the team. And if he sees Müller as part of it, he will let him play. In any case, Müller has shown impressively that he is still dangerous.”

The vice world champion from 2002 believes in the progress of his ex-club, “even if Inter has a strong team, there is no question.”
