A timelapse shows how the Bouwdok gets filled in less than 1 week with 800,000 cubic meters of water, equal to 320 Olympic swimming pools. The underwater setting went smoother than expected. Next week the works will start to make an opening in the dike so that the eight huge tunnel parts can then get out of the dock. The intention is that the first transport will be done in more than a month.
