Multiple and elegant has been chosen as the champagne of the year Charles Heidsieck Réserve Champagne Brut. New Zealand became a sparkling wine of the year Lindauer Special Reserve Blanc de Blancs Brut.

The wine magazine describes the winning champion as interdimensional and stylish. Its fragrance includes roasting spiciness, creamy and gentle walnut.

The champagne flavor is rich, dry, quite wide and harmonious, and also contains peach and brioche shades. Stylish bubbles together with citrus acidity bring vividness and posture to the taste.

The champagne costing € 63.98 is suitable for fried fish and crustaceans.

Champagne of the Year and the Sparkling Wine of the Year 2025 Wine magazine

The sparkling of the year Lindauer Special Reserve Blanc de Blancs Brut Comes from New Zealand. Chardonnay is made by traditional method and 15 months of bottle maturation. Its fragrance contains gentle roasting with red apple, apricot, lemon zest, honey melon and roasted oak.

There are elegant, ripe fruity aromas in the dry taste. The citrus acidity and bubbles bring a nice upset to the wine.

The jury estimates that the wine costs € 17.98 more than worth the price. It is suitable for rich salads and acidic side dishes with clear-flavored fish and shellfish dishes.

Jury (Juha Berglund, Pia Nisén and Antti Rinta-Huumo) Evaluate the wines of the standard and order selection, which the importers had announced to the competition. The upper limit for the bottle price in champagne was 80 euros and for sparkling wines 30 euros. Based on the pre -qualifying tastings, the jury selected 29 champagne and 49 sparkling wines for the final race.
