The Bruges crematorium has been one of the loyal sponsors of the Mug-Heli for many years. Every year DELA and the city of Bruges donate an amount to the non -profit organization that keeps the helicopter in the air. They collect that money in a special way. After cremations, sometimes precious metals, such as titanium of prostheses, remain. The crematorium sells these metals to a specialized company that processes the substances for new medical applications. The proceeds – this year – 17,000 euros – DELA and the city of Bruges, who manage the crematorium, donate to a good cause.
