GUida practice for teachers
Type: Comedy ✦✦✦
Director: Thomas Lilti. With Vincent Lacoste, François Cluzet, Adèle Exarchopoulos

After three films and a TV series on the profession of doctor (that Lilti exercised before dedicating himself to his second passion, cinema), the director of A Métier Sérieux (it is the original title, “a serious job”) trys out with another vocation: teaching.

The teaching body of a high school in the Paris region followsstarting from Vincent Lacoste, the latest arrival, and weaves-through daily chronicle (good morning, lessons, canteen, meetings with parents, anti-fire exercises, leisure time of teachers, moments of doubt and despair)- A choral fresco that highlights the dedication and solidarity of the professors, but also the inadequacy of the system.

A sincere tribute (Lilti’s mother taught letters) and not without hope. We bet on the TV series that will produce.
