The relegation battle in the Bundesliga continues to come to a head. The cellar children shock three goals in the final minutes in two different places – and also Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Wild scenes in the Bundesliga-in three stages. Both in Bochum as well as in Kiel and Mönchengladbach, the crucial goals fell in the last few minutes.

VfL Bochum lost its home game 1-2 (0: 1) against FC Augsburg. Mert Kömür scored the winning goal for the guests in the 90th minute. Samuel Dessende had met in the first round of the Augsburg leadership (16th) that VfL scorer Philipp Hofmann equalized after an hour (60th). FCA professional Arne Maier then saw the red card (80th) after a violent foul-but Bochum could not use the majority. VfL is now worried about relegation.

FC St. Pauli came a big step closer to this. The “Kiezkicker” celebrated a 2-1 away win in the basement thriller in Kiel. Defense attorney Max Schwill became a unlucky on the Kiel side in added time when he pushing the ball into his own goal (90.+2). The “storks” initially presented Alexander Bernhardsson’s goal (21st). Danel Sinani struck back for St. Pauli (34th). The Hamburgers now have seven points ahead of the relegation. Kiel remains the bottom of the table.

Borussia Mönchengladbach conceded a bitter home bankruptcy against SC Freiburg in the fight for Europe. The Breisgauers won 2-1 (1: 1). Johan Manzambi scored the decisive goal – he also scored shortly before the end (90th). An own goal of Christian Günter had initially brought Gladbach to the winning road (14th). In return, Patrick Osterhage headed to compensate (16th).

TSG Hoffenheim drove a 2-0 win (2-0) against Mainz 05. The man of the day was Andrej Kramarić, who contributed both goals (4th, 32nd). Mainz player Paul Nebel saw the yellow-red card (90.+4) shortly before the end

The hosts started more committed and biting in the duels than a week ago, but Augsburg initially dominated the game-once and again VfL defense came into the Bredouille.

After losing the ball of Masouras at his own penalty area, eating was free to shot, Bernardo falsified the ball unsustainably. Bochum reacted with increased attack efforts: Felix Passlack just missed the long corner (20th). Ibrahima Sissoko forced guest keeper Finn Dahmen with a header to a brilliant parade (33.).

Augsburg had the greatest chance before the break: Kristijan Jakić headed to goalkeeper Timo Horn, but Iwan Ordez scratched the ball from the line (45.). After the change of sides, Bochum put even more pressure: a free kick from Masouras parried Dahmen (50th). Sissoko also had Pecho on the crossbar with a header (58th), Hofmann’s long -range shot steered Dahmen over the goal (59.). Then, however, the captain, who used a flank of Passlack, managed to equalize. Mats Pannewig hit the post (89th) for Bochum shortly before the final whistle – and in return the knockout followed.

After a quiet start, Kiel almost stabbed out of nowhere after St. Pauli’s defensive had an unnecessary bad pass. So Armin Gigović was able to forward to Bernhardsson in the middle, the Swede flexed the ball from the penalty area boundary in the goal.

But the joy did not last long, Kiel’s goalkeeper Thomas Dähne could not clarify a cross – and so Sinani equalized from a short distance. The hosts in vain complained about a supposed foul by St. Pauli’s striker Oladapo Afolayan on their keeper.
