Kanye West is currently making headlines more than ever-but unfortunately only with another disturbing social media tirade. In a post that has now been deleted on X (formerly Twitter), the 47-year-old had not only insulted Jay-Z (55) and Beyoncé (43), but also targeted their children in a vulgar way-and thus almost collected the couple’s complaint.
From the “throne” to the abyss
A good decade ago, Jay-Z and Kanye West were considered one of the most influential duo in hip-hop. Her joint album Watch The Throne from 2011 was celebrated worldwide and led to one of the most successful tours in rap history.
But a lot has changed since then. While Jay-Z continued his career, Kanye West slipped into a spiral of controversy, radical statements and public escalations. Anti-Semitic comments, bizarre interviews and disturbing online outbursts have increasingly determined the rapper’s image in recent years. After he recently blamed Taylor Swift (35) that he has never appeared at the Super Bowl, he now even attacked the children of his former companions.
Attack on twins from Beyoncé and Jay Z
In a post dated March 18, 2025, West questioned the cognitive development of the seven -year -old twins from Beyoné and Jay Z and used the term “retarded” – an insulting and disposable expression. In addition, he claimed that the children had been created by artificial fertilization – as if he wanted to publicly defame their existence. After deleting the post for a short time, he put it online again and emphasized that he hadn’t done so, “to be a good person”.
Shock, but no public statement
So far, Beyoncé and Jay-Z themselves have not publicly commented on the incidents. Nevertheless, it is clear: the action hit a nerve. According to information from “Page Six”, the two should be “shocked” over the posts and want to “absolutely not tolerate” that West “spoke about their children in such vulgar and insulting ways”.
As some media report, the few steps against Kanye West. According to “Watson”, an insider said: “The two are aware of the deleted posts and are currently advising on how they want to deal with the situation – be it private and/or in a legal way.”
The von Beyoncé family defends itself publicly
While the artist couple are silent themselves, other voices from the environment speak up. Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles (71) was combative on Instagram: “It is difficult to remain positive and dignified in view of ignorance and malice. But I know that no weapon that is directed against me or my family will have success.” Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles (73) also clearly commented on “TMZ”: “People pay a prize for stupidity – especially in the music industry. I hope Kanye gets the help he needs.”
Kanye West with cryptic apology
After the massive criticism, Kanye West spoke up again on X – with an apology that raises more questions than she answered. “I’m sorry, Jay-Z,” he wrote. “I feel bad about my tweet, but I gave my life in this industry. I thought that so many people were my family-but when I really needed family, none of these rap-n **** s had my back.”
At the same time it became known that West’s wife Bianca Censori (30) apparently left him. After their sloping appearance at the Grammy Awards 2025, the events overturned privately. In a new song entitled Bianca, which is to be released on his upcoming album WW3, West, Censori wanted to have him instructed before leaving him.
His ex-wife Kim Kardashian (44) also had enough of his escapades to protect Bianca Censori. According to “Page Six”, a source reports that it is “horrified” about his recent posts and “no longer ready to rely on reasonable communication with Kanye”.
