Cabinet on appeal in the Greenpeace nitrogen case, concern about the feasibility

The cabinet appeals against the decision in a nitrogen right case that was filed by Greenpeace. The judge ruled that the government must adhere to its own nitrogen goals. If that fails before 2030, a penalty of 10 million euros will follow. The cabinet is “worried about the feasibility of the judgment,” said Minister Femke Wiersma (Agriculture, BBB) on X.
