Lazio Rome traveled to Norway as a big favorite. But there the Romans experienced a nasty surprise.
First spontaneous snow rooms, then the next big football coup: outsider FK Bodo/Glimt storms surprise in the Europa League and could be the next opponent of ex-champion Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-finals. The Norwegians defeated Favorit Lazio Rome 2-0 (0-0) in the evening and thus take a course on the final, which will increase in Bilbao in Spanish on May 21.
In the morning it didn’t look like the game could take place at all. At temperatures around freezing, a large amount of snow fell in the 50,000-inhabitant location. Former Eintracht striker Jan Age Fjörtoft shared a video how large snow masses were on the lawn. A few hours later, 32 -year -old striker Ulrik Saltnes became the hero of the evening with two goals (47th and 69th minute).
Next Thursday (April 17) the second leg in Rome will increase. In a possible semi -finals, Bodo/Glimt hit the winner of the game between Eintracht and Tottenham. The first game would then rise in Frankfurt or London, the second leg in the Norwegian province.
