Two courts in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul ordered the release of 107 students on Thursday. The students in question were arrested and locked up for their participation in prohibited protests. Those protests followed the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul, one of the most important opponents of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This is reported by a lawyer from one of the students at the French news agency AFP.
