The Ministry of the Interior has been struck by a data breach. That confirms a spokesperson for that department on Thursday NRC. According to the spokesman, it would be a report that came in about “a privacy issue,” which he calls “pretty serious” and who has “full attention.”

Details about the data that have been leaked are not yet known. Nor is it clear what impact the event has on the work of civil servants.

According to the Domestic Affairs spokesperson, the ministry is more often due to reports of unauthorized data use. These reports can be made from authorities, hackers or citizens.
