The fire brigade in Tilburg had to break open a wall on Tuesday evening to save a cat. According to an eyewitness, the cat has been stuck under the concrete staircase of an apartment building on the Perosistraat for four in the afternoon.

Despite several rescue attempts, the fire brigade initially did not succeed in freeing the animal. Eventually it was decided at a quarter past nine to make a hole in the wall. The cat came out unharmed. On photos, the animal seems to be convinced with the help of a bowl of cat food.

The cat was taken by the animal ambulance for further control.
