With the toilet roll under the arm over the campsite is (almost) a thing of the past: private sanitary in a camping spot makes on the rise

Camping is becoming more and more luxurious. The camping guests used to have to go to the toilet block with a toilet roll under their arm, nowadays more and more campsites in Europe offer private sanitary. Since the beginning of 2024, the number of campsites that offer its own toilet and shower has increased by 20 percent. At more than 1 in 10 camping companies it is now possible to reserve their own sanitary facilities, with the Netherlands being the leader.
