The roofer war that Den Bosch held in his grip mainly at the end of last year continued at the beginning of this year. No address was so often target as that of a roofer at the Leyhof in Den Bosch. Four explosions took place there. But at the beginning of this year, threats were also painted on the sidewalk and a manhole cover went through the window of the conscious house.
At the beginning of this year it seemed to be a bit quieter in the roofing war. After a series of 24 attacks in the fall of 2024, mainly on the company vans of roofers, 2025 only had two attacks.
With that, Den Bosch seemed to be able to breathe relieved after a turbulent period in which sometimes an attack was committed on the house or the company car of a roofer every night.
Intimidation and destruction
But at the Leyhof in Den Bosch, the intimidations and destruction also continued at the beginning of this year. On January 12, 2025, paint ‘KK’ and ‘War’ were sprayed on the sidewalk.
And around 1 am In the night from 10 to 11 February, someone threw a manhole cover through a window of the home in question. The police announced this on Tuesday evening in the Insporing Verzocht program.
The same perpetrator
The roofer who lives at the address in question was already target. The first attack dates back to February 21, 2024. On both 24 and 27 August and on December 24, an explosive went off at his company car and house. The police suspect that the same perpetrator is responsible for these last three explosions.
