On April 6, Fler publicly shot on his Instagram channel against Ikkimel. But he not only criticized her music, but also her way.
Fler says: she is “undetented” & still confident
In the reel on Fler’s Instagram account you can see several video excerpts that Ikkimel partially show on stage or in interviews. In the Caption to the post office, he explains that in his opinion the rapper is unameted and that it is disturbing him how confident she is. The (current) signature is: “How can you be so ugly, cheeky, unfamiliar and then still confident? I swear these eco-hipsters with God. I warned you in tens of interviews years ago, what happens if the fakeness wins. Now you have any sick people who only know hip-hop only from the Internet, and make their own sick version of it. I don’t think so. Stop this music. “
In the interview sections that Fler shows in the reel, Ikkimel explains that she is “the best rapper in Germany”. A large part of their music and public presentation is based on provocation. With appearances including sex toys on stage and polarizing lyrics, the Berliner repeatedly causes discussion whether her music is now empowerment and feminist or not.
Quick criticism of Fler’s statements
A lot of criticism of his statements collects under Fler’s post. This is a comment: “Is Fler actually more except for 2020?” Ikkimel has not yet responded to Fler’s video.
Ikkimel is not the only one against which the rapper handed out at the weekend. In his story he reposted a real reel from Lila Sovia and wrote: “What’s the next hipster eco-cheek around the corner?” He also shared several posts from Nike101 and commented on them with “this next cheeky whore”.
