Many coaches are a thorn in the side of the narrow schedule in football. Now a Premier League coach complained about the club World Cup.

In the Premier League, FC Brentford is currently in 12th place in the table. On Sunday, the team was able to fight for a draw against Chelsea FC. Afterwards, coach Thomas Frank spoke about the full schedule of his team and the upcoming club World Cup in June-but not positive.

The 51-year-old Dane said in relation to the competition, which will be held from June 14th to July 13th with 32 teams for the first time: “It is simply because it is another tournament. Who wants that? Nobody.” He also described the club World Cup as “ridiculous”.

When asked by a reporter as to whether Thomas Frank looks at the competition, he said: “No, I will enjoy my summer. Under no circumstances.” The club World Cup takes place in a total of twelve stadiums in the USA. With FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, two German clubs take part.
