Extinction Rebellion (XR) climate activists blocked the A12 and other roads in the Hofstad on Saturday. In total it concerned a few hundred demonstrators, according to a reporter from the ANP. The A12 has since been released again, reports Rijkswaterstaat. Earlier, the ANWB announced that the traffic around The Hague was ‘completely stuck’ due to the demonstration.
