A man has followed his grandson with a stick, but was then attacked by local residents. The police had to come to the Le Mairestraat in Breda with ten cars to bring him to safety.
The police received a report early on Saturday in the evening because a man with a stick was running behind a child. It turned out to be his grandson. When other local residents found out, they were aiming for the grandfather.
Why the man ran behind the boy is unknown. But the suspected fight caused a lot of fuss. The police had to go to the report with ten cars to intervene. The grandfather had to be protected by them against his attackers.
