When the mecons scattered all over the world meet all jubilee years to take up a new album, it’s about two things: First, the veterans of the indie outsider want to have a good time. Second, they want to import a record that tells the world. This is still the claim almost 50 years after the band was founded. Horror is about what is in the newspaper yesterday, today and tomorrow.
