For many, Jogi Löw is the ex-national coach. However, the 65-year-old can still imagine returning to the coaching bench.

Joachim Löw is thinking about a possible comeback in football. During the half-time break of the DFB Cup semi-final between VfB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig (3-1), the former national coach at Sky spoke about his future and made it clear that he is open to a new commitment.

A farewell to retirement is not fundamentally eligible for him, the 64-year-old emphasized. Löw said: “Basically I said, I don’t want to say goodbye now if there is again an interesting offer where I say is a good perspective.”

However, Löw also knows that his last coach job at the DFB has been four years ago. After his task as a national coach, the ex-coach of VfB Stuttgart (1996 to 1998) no longer returned to club football as the person responsible.

The area of national teams in particular therefore seems to be of interest to Löw. “Of course I am always associated with national teams because I was a national coach for so long,” said Löw and added: “I think that my experience is concerned, that would also be the best for me because I have been out of club football for a long time.”
